The TerritoryManager will be a collaborative, customer-focused sales professional who worksclosely with Parts, Service, and Administration teams to deliver exceptionalcustomer experiences. Preference will be given to candidates with prioragricultural or construction equipment sales experience-or a strong machinerysales background- combined with a genuine passion for the agriculture andconstruction industries.
This role is responsible for growing market share within a defined territory bybuilding robust customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities,and positioning the Company as a trusted equipment and solutions partner.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage strongrelationships with customers within the assigned territory through regularon-site visits, proactive communication, and a deep understanding ofcustomer needs.
Serve as a trusted advisor tofarmers and contractors by understanding their operations, challenges, andlong-term goals, and recommending appropriate equipment and solutions.
Identify, prioritize, and pursuenew business opportunities to grow market penetration and revenue withinthe territory.
Prospect new customers through avariety of methods, including cold calling, face-to-face meetings,referrals, networking, and industry events.
Maintain consistent monthly contactwith customers to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, andsupport customer retention.
Collaborate with internal teams(Parts, Service, Administration, and Leadership) to resolve customerissues, remove barriers, and support successful deal closure.
Actively manage assigned accounts,sales pipeline, opportunities, and forecasts using company sales tools,ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and submit weekly salesactivity and performance reports against established targets.
Maintain awareness of industrytrends, competitor activity, and new product offerings, introducing newsolutions to customers as appropriate.
Take full ownership of assignedaccounts, demonstrating strong self-motivation, accountability, and theability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education inbusiness, marketing, sales, agriculture, or a related technical field isconsidered an asset.
Strong understanding ofagriculture, farming operations, and agronomic trends.
Excellent communication,interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to prospect,qualify, and close sales both in person and over the phone.
Minimum of three (3) years ofmachinery sales experience; agricultural or construction equipment salesexperience is preferred.
Proven ability to build newbusiness while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
Willingness and ability to travelextensively within the assigned territory for customer and prospectvisits.
Valid Class 5 driver's license witha clean driver's abstract.
