We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Finance Manager to lead our accounting department and help drive operational excellence across our organization. In this role, you will manage the full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting for multiple legal entities, while leading the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Manage full‑cycle accounting operations across multiple legal entities including key functions: month end close, AR/AP, cash, inventory, compliance filings
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
Prepare monthly management reporting, variance analysis, cash flow reporting, KPI tracking
Other ad‑hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Ensure integrity and accuracy of all financial data and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Manage the year‑end close process and serve as the primary liaison with external accounting firms for year‑end financial statement preparation and tax return filings.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes to align with and meet company objectives.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage a team of 5 accounting staff, overseeing daily operations.
Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance management to foster a high‑performing team and a positive work environment.
Process Improvement & Internal Controls
Design, build, and maintain effective workflows to ensure compliance and effective internal controls.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, including implementation of automated solutions and streamline workflows for high efficiency
Lead the financial process integration for newly acquired or opened pharmacy locations.
Stakeholder Liaison
Act as the key department liaison and primary point of contact for internal department managers, bank, vendors, property managers and other third‑party stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Proven ability to lead a team with an extensive understanding of accounting processes and departmental workflows.
Expertise in preparing financial statements under ASPE.
Strong proficiency in utilizing accounting systems and software (Sage preferred), ability to act as system administrator.
Expertise in Power BI for financial reporting and data visualization.
Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills; resourceful with sharp attention to detail.
Direct experience with accounting for retail and/or pharmacy operations is considered a strong asset.
Compensation
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
