Overview
We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at St. Johns Hospital.

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of Manager or designate, practices in accordance with the standards of qualified practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Works within a patient and family centered care model and in accordance with the mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health.

Provides direct patient care to obstetrical patients during intra‑, postpartum, and high‑risk antepartum periods, and to assigned medical/surgical patients.

Assesses, plans, provides, and evaluates nursing care for these patients.

Collaborates with the inter‑professional team, demonstrating a specialized body of knowledge and basing practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.

Works in various scenarios where nurses are required to have advanced training and experience.

Shift
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 (rotating).
