Join the Mobile Unit HART Hub team as a full time Peer Support Worker. Utilize your lived experience to provide trauma-informed care and support mental wellness in East End Communities. As a Peer Support Worker, you will engage with individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, delivering culturally secure and holistic support.
Your role is crucial in navigating barriers and fostering connections within the community, with a focus on empathy and recovery-based assistance. Key Responsibilities:
Provide relationship-based, trauma-informed support to clients
Help clients navigate mental health and addiction services
Foster community connections and resource engagement
Uphold confidentiality while building trusting relationships
Operate a mobile outreach unit vehicle for client support Requirements:
Lived experience with mental health challenges or substance use
Knowledge of harm reduction and trauma-informed care
Valid driver’s license and clean driving history
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Naloxone training (or willingness to obtain) Support mental wellness in East End Communities through culturally grounded, client-centered care.
