We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our growing team in Nova Scotia. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable insurance professional who excels in servicing and selling personal lines policies, with a strong emphasis on home insurance. You will work closely with clients to assess risk, provide tailored coverage solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Service and sell personal lines insurance products, including home and auto insurance
Conduct thorough client needs analyses and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and recent business quotes
Maintain accurate and compliant client records using the EPIC broker management system
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Stay current with insurer products, underwriting guidelines, and provincial regulations
Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all client and insurer interactions

Qualifications & Experience
CAIB designation (completed or fully certified)
Minimum 5 years of experience in personal lines insurance brokerage
Proven proficiency in home insurance, including underwriting, coverage analysis,



and claims-related knowledge
Robust working knowledge of Applied EPIC
Licensed (or eligible for licensing) to conduct insurance business in Nova Scotia
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to client service excellence
