Job Summary

Join our dynamic pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations within a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Knowledge of Mandarin is an asset.

Duties
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing in accordance with medical orders and pharmacy protocols
Support medication intake processes by verifying prescriptions, updating patient records, and ensuring accurate documentation
Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and supporting patient care activities
Manage inventory control by stock checking, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
Support the pharmacy team during critical care situations by preparing medications swiftly and accurately under supervision

Qualifications
Previous pharmacy technician or assistant experience.




Strong understanding of medical terminology and acute care procedures
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team in rapid-paced environments.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for accurate documentation and inventory management
Ability to communicate clearly with patients, healthcare providers, and team members to support optimal patient outcomes
