We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physiotherapist to join our team! The ideal candidate will provide physical therapy services to patients in client’s homes in the Durham region (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Courtice, Bowmanville). We provide in-home pediatric physiotherapy to children ages newborn to 18 years.
Experience in pediatrics is an asset, but new grads are welcome to apply, as we are able to offer mentorship during your PT residency.
Duties
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to aid in patient recovery
Monitor and document patient progress accurately
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and preventive measures
Skills
Experience in pediatric physiotherapy or clinical rotation in pediatrics
Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach
Ability to work effectively independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements

Registered in Valuable Standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
