We’re Hiring: Payroll Specialist

Pro Administration Services Inc. is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist with strong expertise in ADP Workforce Now to join our team in Surrey, BC.

Position Details:
Full-time, in-office
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $75,000–$83,000
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle payroll for multiple payroll groups and pay frequencies
Review, validate, reconcile, and balance payroll prior to processing
Process new hires, terminations, status changes, bonuses, vacation payouts, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments
Maintain accurate employee payroll data in ADP Workforce Now
Review timecards and process overtime, shift premiums, statutory holiday pay, vacation, and leaves
Investigate and resolve payroll and timekeeping discrepancies
Process ROEs, statutory deductions, taxable perks, garnishments, and pension contributions
Support year-end processing, including T4 preparation and reconciliation
Prepare payroll, labour distribution, vacation liability, union, and audit reports
Perform payroll and General Ledger reconciliations and investigate variances




Work closely with HR, Operations, Scheduling, and Union representatives to resolve payroll matters
Maintain ADP Workforce Now payroll configurations and support payroll process improvements

What We’re Looking For:
PCP designation
5–7 years of progressive full-cycle payroll experience
Extensive hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now
Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and employment standards
Advanced Excel and reconciliation skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
