Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
Support patients with medication administration and monitor health status according to care plans
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
Conduct light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and improve mental well-being
Help with mobility and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics to ensure safety during heavy lifting or repositioning
Document care activities accurately and report any changes in health or behavior to supervising healthcare specialists
Qualifications
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care environments preferred
Solid knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect compassionately with clients of all ages
Valid training or certification in caregiving, medication administration, or related fields is advantageous
Reliable and punctual with a adaptable attitude towards shift schedules
Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards
