Paint Maker Helper

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: CA$25.00 per hour

CONSOLIDATED COATINGS CORP, a privately owned business selling quality paints and coatings, is seeking an experienced paint maker helper.

The position is accountable for operating equipment that mixes and grinds liquids and other materials used to manufacture paint and coatings.

This position also includes assisting in the paint batch making process and includes putting together raw materials and adding them to paint tanks under the supervision of the head paint maker.

Job Requirements
Prebatch and ticket inspection
Operate meters.
Measure tanks for yield, follow directions on batch slip, and monitor batch until proper grind or mix is obtained.
Secure operation of equipment including forklift, drum handling equipment, and battery charges.
Clean vessels, lines, and other equipment used in the process.
Practice the principals of the Safety program.




Participate in housekeeping activities indicative of a safe and clutter free work setting.

Basic Qualifications
Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must have current Forklift license.

Other Qualifications
One year of experience working with machinery in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Experience blending and making a product in a batch process is preferred.
Experience monitoring the quality of raw materials or finished goods is preferred.
