Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Part time Concierge for a prestigious condominium in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This energetic role involves ensuring a safe, welcoming setting for residents, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and supporting loss prevention efforts to uphold the security standards of the property.
Responsibilities
Greet residents, visitors, and service providers with professionalism and enthusiasm
Authorize access to the building and common areas, verifying identities as needed
Conduct CCTV surveillance to monitor activity around the property and identify suspicious behavior
Perform regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security protocols are maintained
Assist with loss prevention by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents promptly
Maintain detailed logs of access activities,
surveillance footage, and incident reports
Respond swiftly to emergencies or security concerns, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
Requirements
Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable
Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV and experience in loss prevention techniques
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail during patrols and monitoring activities
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with residents and team members
Ability to remain alert, proactive, and qualified during shifts that may include evenings or weekends
Knowledge of security procedures and protocols specific to condominium environments is a plus
