Position: Order Picker

Reports to: Foreman – Shipping Department

Takes direction from: Shipping Department Foreman, Lead Hand, Plant Manager

General
Follow the General Safety Rules and comply with the Ontario Health & Safety Act
Follow the Employee Secure Food Handling Manual.
Wear all Personal Protective Equipment as provided by the company.
Attend training and other meetings as required.
Use appropriate lifting techniques.

:
Selects cases of product from skids in warehouse & places them on walkie truck as per customer order
Ability to lift up to 30 kgs.
Ability to use RF scanner
Ability to use walkie truck
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with attention to detail
Able follow instruction & be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be literate
Must posses good organizational skills
Valuable attendance mandatory
Other warehouse duties as assigned
