POSITION TITLE: Overnight Awake Support Worker

60-hour biweekly (30 weekly)

POSITION SUMMARY: 1 Permanent Position Avalable

Community Homes Program

Haliburton, ON

10-hour awake shift (typically, 10pm-8am or 10:30pm –

8:30am, and typically Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

QUALIFICATIONS:

§ One year full time equivalent experience in the Developmental Services field.

§ A One-year post-secondary certificate or equivalent in the Human Services field.

§ Demonstrated ability to work independently

§ Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making competencies.

§ Proof of ongoing qualified learning

§ Current and Valid Emergency First Aid, CPR

§ Valid Class G Driver’s License and Acceptable Driver’s Abstract.

§ Access to a reliable vehicle and proof of valid vehicle insurance including passenger coverage.

§ Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.

§ Relevant experience with intellectual disabilities.

§ Computer Literacy (Microsoft office, e-mail, internet).





SALARY: Hourly Wage Range – Step 1: $27.77 - Step 3: $28.47

Annual Salary Range - $43,321.20 - $44,413.20
