The Kamloops Downtown X-ray and Ultrasound Clinic is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team of healthcare professionals. The job requires a high level of customer service and a willingness to learn new tasks. A successful candidate has excellent communication and administrative skills, as well as a willingness to work as part of a team.

This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities that include answering phones and greeting visitors, as well as booking and registering patients. It is a excellent position for a motivated individual who enjoys interacting with clients in a compassionate manner. Must be able to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

Qualifications/Attributes
Booking experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant program is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology.




Excellent communication skills.
Detail-oriented, strong organization skills and ability to multitask.
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.

Responsibilities:
Create a welcoming workplace for clients and visitors at the office.
Answer incoming calls, inquiries, and direct callers to the appropriate person.
Triage and file requisitions, schedule appointments and register patients.
Fax documents.
Respect client confidentiality.
Acquire accurate client information.

Job Type: Part time Pay: $21.25-$26.50 per hour
