Responsibilities:
Assist physiotherapists in providing patient care and treatment
Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the physiotherapist
Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
Provide assistance to patients with mobility and transfers
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas
Requirements
Previous experience as a physiotherapy assistant or related role is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Familiarity with working in a hospital or acute care setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
