This part time position requires proficiency in phlebotomy, patient communication, and the ability to prepare specimens for testing. You will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality laboratory standards in a collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and explain specimen collection procedures
Perform phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors
Conduct special test collections including drug screens
Maintain records and process patient information accurately
Prepare specimens for transportation and laboratory testing Requirements:
Completed Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent experience
Previous training in phlebotomy is essential
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
