About the job
Qualifications
Coating inspection and quality control skills. NACE Level 3 certification and robust knowledge of industrial coating systems, surface preparation standards, and failure analysis.
Experience with industrial painting operations, such as abrasive blasting, metal roof coatings, secondary containment linings, and application on tanks, silos, equipment, and structural steel.
Safety and compliance capabilities, including familiarity with WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Aerial Platform operation, and relevant environmental and occupational health regulations.
Technical documentation and communication skills, including preparing explicit inspection reports, interpreting specifications and drawings, and collaborating effectively with site teams and clients.
Background in industrial or commercial construction environments, with the ability to work in office, adapt to varying field conditions, and maintain high attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience diagnosing coating issues, recommending corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement of coating practices.
Asset qualifications may include additional certifications in corrosion, QA/QC, or safety, as well as experience with HACCP-related coatings, industrial cleaning, and power washing.
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
