Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to identify therapy needs.
Develop customized treatment plans that align with residents’ goals and medical conditions.
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote functional independence.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses.
Educate residents and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety measures.
Monitor residents responses to treatment and adjust plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Skills
Strong case management skills to coordinate ongoing therapy services effectively.
Experience working with geriatric populations, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
