Mortgage Enforcement Lawyer

We’re working with a well-established GTA firm looking to add a Mortgage Enforcement Lawyer to their growing real estate litigation group. The firm has deep roots, great people, and a robust roster of lender clients who rely on them for timely, effective enforcement work.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll take the lead on files involving:
Power of sale proceedings and foreclosure actions
Commercial and residential mortgage enforcement
Title disputes and priority issues
Recovery strategies, including judgment enforcement
Real estate litigation related to secured lending
Advising lenders and mortgage servicers on risk, strategy, and compliance

What You Bring
3+ years of litigation or real estate law experience, with some exposure to secured lending or enforcement
Comfort navigating the Courts of Justice Act, Land Titles Act, and Rules of Civil Procedure
Robust drafting skills, good judgment, and a solutions-first mindset
The ability to manage files independently while collaborating with a supportive team
