Join Ontario Shipyards as a full time Mechanical Fitter in St. Catharines, ON. This role focuses on repairing and maintaining mechanical components of marine vessels, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you'll collaborate with Field Service Representatives to disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble ship components. With a solid emphasis on safety protocols, you will engage in fitting various mechanical parts, ensuring they meet engineering specifications. Your hands-on experience will be key to the performance and reliability of marine mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety protocols on job sites
Fit and install hydraulic and pneumatic components
Conduct hydrostatic tests on tanks and systems
Perform daily inspections of tools for safety
Collaborate with colleagues for operational tasks Requirements:
2+ years of mechanical fitting experience
Valid Red Seal Trade Certification 430M (asset)
Robust commitment to safety practices
Ability to work in various weather conditions
