Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering exceptional patient care.

Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, supporting clinical staff, and facilitating efficient communication within the medical facility. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures to ensure a welcoming experience
Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate follow-up visits to optimize clinic efficiency
Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as preparing examination rooms, handling medical supplies, and documenting patient interactions
Administer medications as directed by physicians, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols




Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems while respecting patient confidentiality
Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, medication instructions, and upcoming appointments
Support the team by managing phone calls, responding to inquiries, and coordinating referrals or laboratory requests

Experience
Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly preferred
Robust understanding of patient care practices and medical terminology
Experience with medication administration and handling pharmaceutical supplies is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced workplace
Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to foster positive patient interactions
