Join the Native Youth Health & Wellness Centre as a Medical Office Assistant. This full-time role focuses on providing support and coordination for Indigenous youth in a culturally secure environment. UNYA is seeking an outgoing individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience in office administration within the health or social service sectors.
As the first point of contact, you'll engage with youth, families, and community partners to uphold the mission of providing holistic health support. Your expertise in organization and communication will be key in ensuring seamless clinic operations. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate youth access to in office practitioners and book appointments
Perform administrative duties for day-to-day clinic operations
Support outreach initiatives to engage youth in health services
Develop partnerships with health practitioners and community resources
Compile statistics and reports for program development Requirements:
2+ years in office admin in health/social services
Robust knowledge of Indigenous community resources
Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical terminology
Excellent communication and organizational skills
