IGA Rutland (located at 50 Highway 33) is currently looking for a passionate foodie to join our team as a Meat Cutter. With a passion for food, you are a person who loves working with people and creating a positive experience for others.

Job Overview

As a Meat Cutter, you will help prepare and package meat and seafood products, replenishing display cases and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. You will also assist with customer orders, requests and inquiries.

Street Credentials:
Must have an open availability
Previous experience working as a Meat Cutter or in similar capacity in a grocery store environment is required.
Meat cutter training/certification is an asset
You enjoy interacting with guests and offering recommendations on the variety of meat and seafood products we offer
You have excellent communication skills both verbally and in written.
You have a great eye for detail and highly organized.




You love a clean working environment.
You enjoy working in a team and can work under minimal supervision in a rapid-paced work environment.
You are able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Must have a VALID work authorization in Canada. (We are unable to assist candidates in obtaining a Canadian Work Authorization/Permit)
