Duties
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on various marine vessels using specialized tools and equipment
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and system inspections
Repair or replace faulty components including engines, propellers, pumps, and electrical systems
Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble marine machinery with precision
Conduct safety inspections to ensure all vessels meet regulatory standards and operational safety protocols
Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each vessel




Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules

Requirements
Solid mechanical knowledge with experience working on marine engines or related systems
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers
Familiarity with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers for effective repairs
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physical demands such as lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods
Certification or experience in marine mechanics is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
