Join the LMG Chipper Team as a Log Loader Operator, responsible for safely operating heavy machinery and ensuring productive log handling. This 6-month term, starting August 2026, offers a vital role in chipper operations. Reporting to the Lead Hand, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of logs to the debarker and chipper.

You'll apply your expertise in operating a log loader and potentially other heavy equipment, adhering to safety standards while performing your duties. Additionally, this role involves routine maintenance and inspections to guarantee secure and effective equipment operation. Key Responsibilities:
Operate hydraulic pumps and mechanical components safely
Conduct pre- and post-operational equipment inspections
Load logs onto trailers and unload into the debarker
Assist in chipper maintenance and repairs
Complete required documentation for operations Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Heavy Equipment Operator Certification preferred
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Experience with log loaders and heavy machinery
Knowledge of safety and maintenance procedures Support LMG Chipper operations by ensuring effective log loading and equipment upkeep.
