Orr Cleaners is looking for a reliable and organized Laundry Worker to join our team. This position involves processing both commercial laundry, including RMT sheets and towels, as well as personal customer laundry.
What You'll Be Doing
Folding and finishing RMT sheets, towels and other commercial laundry
Processing and folding personal customer laundry
Sorting and keeping customer orders organized — making sure laundry never gets mixed up!
Checking orders and ensuring everything is returned to the correct customer
Entering orders and completing basic tasks through our POS system
Keeping the laundry area clean and organized
Other general laundry duties as required
What We're Looking For:
Reliable, dependable and punctual
Very organized and detail-oriented
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift laundry bags
Able to work efficiently in a busy setting
Good attention to detail — keeping customer orders separate is extremely key
Comfortable learning and using a POS system
Works well independently and as part of a team
Previous laundry, cleaning is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Occasional Saturdays
