Western Archrib has been a leader in the design, manufacture, and custom fabrication of glued-laminated structural wood systems since 1951. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate for this role must have experience in CNC machine set up, programming, reading and interpreting shop drawings, coding, and operating different CNC machine tool attachments. We will provide job specific training onsite.

Location: 312 Park Road,Sturgeon County, AB

Shifts:
8 Hour day shift

Hours: Full time Wage: Starting at $25.00 per hour

Role Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings on a variety of Glulam wood manufactured beams
Operate and set up CNC machine tool attachments to perform repetitive machine operations
Program and edit the machine to specify speed, feed rates, and cut of the tool path for numerically controlled machine tools
Clean and maintain equipment
Maintain safety standards and protected work practices




Keep records of production data and maintenance as well as maintain equipment inventory and supplies
Inspect finished product for accuracy and quality ensuring compliance with specifications

Role Requirements:
Candidates must be physically fit and able to lift to a maximum of 50lbs consistently
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work 40 hours a week
Able to adapt to a rapid paced industrial setting with a shifting schedule
Standard CSA approved Steel toed boots are required, we will provide safety glasses, work gloves, hardhat, and reflective vests
