We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in executing menus, kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This position requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the development of creative menu items that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
Oversee food stations including inventory management, food preparation, and presentation of dishes.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Skills
Robust cooking skills with experience in various cuisines. Italian Cuisine is preferred!
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food service industry.
Experience in bartending is a plus for establishments offering beverage services.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant setting.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and guests.
A background in hospitality or restaurant management is preferred but not required.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
