We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on experience with various tools and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.

The Journeyperson

Plumber will play a vital role in delivering quality workmanship on time and within scope.

Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute plumbing tasks accurately
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete projects efficiently
Perform maintenance on HVAC systems related to plumbing components when necessary
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper assembly of plumbing infrastructure during new builds or renovations
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and troubleshoot problems effectively




Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Maintain a clean work workplace and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements
Valid Journeyperson Plumbing license or equivalent certification
Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within construction or industrial settings
Robust mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs
Knowledge of carpentry principles related to plumbing installation is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working in confined spaces
Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
