Job Summary

MINISO Canada is currently expanding and we are looking for a Retail Area Manager to support stores across the Ontario region, primarily covering Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph, London, Brantford, Sarnia, Windsor, and Thunder Bay.

Major Responsibilities:

- Ensure all assigned stores operate efficiently and in full compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures

- Develop and manage budgets, sales targets, and KPIs for each store within the Ontario region

- Recruit, train, coach, and develop store managers and retail associates

- Oversee daily store operations and conduct regular store visits to ensure consistent execution and performance

- Monitor and manage inventory levels, product distribution, and store merchandising standards

- Analyze store performance and implement strategies to improve sales, profitability, and operational efficiency

- Prepare and review reports, including sales performance, labour costs, and operational metrics

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, merchandising, HR) to ensure smooth business operations

- Manage labour scheduling,



control operating expenses, and optimize cost efficiency

- Drive customer service excellence and ensure a consistent brand experience across all locations

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably managing multiple store locations

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred

- Eligible to work in Canada

- Solid leadership skills with a results-driven mindset

- Excellent merchandising and store execution capabilities

- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across a geographically dispersed region
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required

- Willingness to travel frequently between Ontario store locations, including Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph, London, Brantford, Sarnia, Windsor, and Thunder Bay

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail reporting systems
