Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our agile team. Duties

- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and merchandising standards
- Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage employee orientation, training & development initiatives to enhance team performance
- Conduct interviewing and recruiting activities to build a talented retail team
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management with accuracy
- Maintain inventory management through stock replenishment, purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control measures
- Ensure compliance with operational policies, safety standards, and store procedures while supervising shift management duties

Experience





- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management and leadership skills
- Strong background in sales management, retail math, and operational oversight including budgeting and merchandising
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management tools, and basic bookkeeping practices
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing potential employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions
- Knowledge of retail product knowledge across various categories such as grocery or wireless sales is advantageous

Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
