Hayter’s Farm is a family-owned turkey farm in Dashwood, Ontario that has been operating for over 75 years with over 150 team members from across the Globe. Families have come to know and love our turkey products thanks to partnerships with major retailers like Farm Boy, Longo’s, and Hello Fresh. We are the only Federal establishment in Canada to raise, process, package & retail all in one location.

Managing the entire process allows us to adapt, implement change, and create the best product.

Hayter’s Farm is seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral member of our retail team. This position is for every other weekend, with additional hours during our peak season.

Duties

· Greet our customers and educate them on our unique products

· Learn proper health and safety protocols as well as become Working SMART Certified

· Keep our product stocked and inventory recorded which involves lifting 30 lbs, sometimes overhead

· Operate our cash register, scale, and inventory scanner





· Learn about our LBCO and Beer Store products, keep them stocked and accurately priced

· Accept and count empties

· Clean & sanitize the floors, counters, and bathrooms daily

Qualifications

· A positive and welcoming demeanor

· Reliable transportation to and from work

· Comfortable standing for 9 hours a day and lifting 25lbs repeatedly

Schedule

Rotating schedule every other weekend:

Saturday 9:00AM – 5:00 PM and Sunday 11:00AM – 4:00PM
