Become a vital part of our healthcare delivery as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Care Units. This role emphasizes direct patient care and effective assessment skills within a supportive team workplace.
In this nursing position, you will assess patients rigorously and develop, implement, and modify care plans as needed. Collaboration with families and the interprofessional care team ensures optimal care delivery. You will be instrumental in health education, promoting patient autonomy and well-being through clear communication and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to inform care
• Develop and assess effective care plans collaboratively
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members
• Engage in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Mentor new nursing staff and participate in training programs
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BCCNM in British Columbia
• Completion of advanced cardiology courses or equivalent
• Recent experience in cardiac care settings
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills
• Commitment to promoting inclusive health care
