NHS HOSPITAL – CONSULTANT GASTROENTEROLOGIST VACANCY
Triple West Medical have been assigned by an NHS Hospital based in the South East to help recommend a Consultant Gastroenterologist to the Trust.

The successful applicant will join a very friendly and welcoming team of 6 WTE substantive consultants and 2 locum consultants, with the support of 2 middle grade doctors and further 2 Gastroenterology ST trainees. Specialty interests of the current gastroenterologists include bowel cancer screening, IBD and ERCP / therapeutic endoscopy.

The post holder is expected to have experience of performing independent diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopies. It is expected that the post holder will manage gastroenterology and general medical patients both as in‑patients and out‑patients (GIM patients mostly as in‑patients).



The post holder will also support the delivery of the out‑of‑hours GI bleed rota, which is already in place at a frequency of 1:7.
