Senior Analyst, Financial Management & Reporting
SaskCentral is seeking a cooperative and analytical finance professional to join our team. As the Senior Analyst, Financial Management & Reporting, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision‑making by delivering insightful financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. You will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of SaskCentral's financial information while identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that contribute to the organization's financial success.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and review of SaskCentral's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including financial statements, regulatory reporting, tax filings, and reporting for the Executive Leadership Team, Board, and committees.
Work closely with leaders across the organization to provide actionable financial insights that support strategic initiatives, operational planning, and informed decision‑making.
Qualifications
University Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
35 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, and financial analysis.
Preference given to candidates with experience in the financial services sector and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Canadian tax requirements, and regulatory environments.
Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills.
Collaborative, detail‑oriented, and able to communicate complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred; knowledge of credit union system or broader financial services industry considered an asset.
