Position: Java Backend Developer - AI Tools & Agentic AI

Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with AI Tools/Agentic AI experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade backend systems. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Java, distributed systems, and up-to-date AI development tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java.
Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems and production-grade services.
Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Work with relational and document-oriented databases.
Develop and maintain solutions in Linux/Unix settings, including scripting.




Develop and integrate Agentic AI solutions and AI development tools into backend applications.
Follow Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and code-quality best practices.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Required Skills:
5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
Solid experience with Core Java, distributed systems, and system design.
Solid understanding of DSA and software design patterns.
Experience with Linux/Unix, scripting, and databases.
Hands-on experience with Agentic AI development and AI tools.
Robust problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
