Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals according to standards
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cooking stations
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
Support food service operations by setting up serving stations and helping serve meals efficiently
Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory is managed properly to prevent waste




Follow all safety protocols related to kitchen equipment and food handling to ensure a safe working environment

Skills
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to assist with meal preparation and cooking tasks effectively
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction when assisting in food service
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cleaning techniques
Positive communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn about the food industry and improve culinary skills
