Peaceful Restaurant has been operating for nearly 20 years in Vancouver, and recently opened a this recent location in Burnaby. We are looking for a kitchen assistant/cashier who is interested in a position that is a balance between food service and customer service. If you are unfamiliar with Northern Chinese cuisine, we are happy to teach.

Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation by washing, chopping and organizing the ingredients and food supplies to support the cooks.
Help with simple cooking tasks - pan-frying, steaming and making rolls.
Help take customers food orders (by phone or in-person), and organize online orders.
Help with payment of bills - cash or credit card.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces,



and taking out garbage.

Skills and Experience
Enthusiasm and interest for learning is valued highly
Ability to multi-task, work quickly and be organized is required
Ability to speak intermediate level of English is required
Friendly customer-service is required
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required
Food Secure Training is preferred but not required
