Junior Director (US Tax)

Location: Markham, ON Full-Time | In Office

We're looking for an experienced Junior Director (US Tax) to join a team-oriented public accounting environment serving privately held businesses and individuals. This is an ideal prospect for a seasoned CPA who enjoys leading client engagements, developing teams, and providing trusted accounting and tax advice.

What You'll Do
Lead accounting, compilation, tax, advisory engagements for private companies and individuals.
Review files and ensure the delivery of high-quality client service.
Build and maintain solid client relationships as a trusted advisor.
Identify tax planning and business advisory prospects.
Mentor and develop team members while managing multiple client engagements.
Contribute to practice growth through networking and business development.

What We're Looking For
Canadian CPA designation is required.
10+ years of public accounting experience ,



with a strong focus on Canadian corporate tax and compilation engagements .
US personal tax experience is required
Extensive experience advising owner-managed and private businesses .
Experience with iFirm and CaseWare is required.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage client relationships and mentor teams.
Strong technical knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Candidates living in or within a reasonable commute to Markham are strongly preferred.
US CPA designation with experience is a strong asset
