Position Repair Technician

Classification Full-time, Immediate hire
Salary $100,000 - $160,000

Role Overview As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands‑on role that requires mechanical knowledge, automotive repair skills, and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities Perform bodywork tasks, applying filler, shaping, forming, sanding, priming, and painting
Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including body panels, fenders, doors, and bumpers
Align and fit vehicle components to the original pre‑condition
Inspect vehicles for additional damage
Assess frame with Car‑O‑Liner measurement system
Clamp down and pull for mash and sway
Section‑in frame rails, quarter panels, rockers, pillars
Use spot welder, miracle dent puller, MIG welder
Attention to detail, panel dry fit, smooth/clean repair
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and guidelines
Must‑Haves Completion of a related post‑secondary program and/or training courses
Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes and adherence to processes
Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost‑effectively
I‑CAR certification training and I‑CAR certification would be considered assets
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving history
2–3 years of Autobody Technician experience
Welding knowledge and training
Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and able to do all types of repairs
