What You Will Do
GFT is seeking to build a pipeline of Water/Wastewater Modeller talent to join our Water team in either Toronto, Mississauga or Ottawa ON.

This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Toronto, Mississauga or Ottawa office.

Responsibilities
As a Water/Wastewater Modeller, you will be involved in the hydraulic modeling, planning, and design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, with an emphasis on addressing complex issues related to pumping and transmission, storage, source of supply, and treatment.

Conduct strategic planning studies for improving and scaling various water/wastewater systems.

Plan, coordinate, and direct hydraulic modeling analysis and design on multiple projects with complex features.

Analyze system performance data and maintain asset management plans.

Analyze water source, treatment, pumping, and collection/distribution, and storage to conduct system capacity evaluations.

Interact with project clients to understand their needs and requirements.

Provide technical input and review of project deliverables.

Support scope, budgets, and proposal preparation.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in hydraulic analysis and design related to water and wastewater systems.





Experience with hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWorks, WaterCAD/WaterGEMS, InfoWater, Hammer, or similar.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to prepare and deliver client presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

Registered P.Eng or ability to obtain within six months.

Experience as model manager and/or water planner.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $68,000.00 - $98,000.00 dependent upon experience and geographic location.
