Who is a Service Technician? The Service Technician role is responsible for all aspects of repair and maintenance of our clubs. It specializes in either fitness equipment or facility repair, ensuring the highest function of all member-facing and associate areas.
Responsibilities Perform service and repairs across multiple locations.
Utilize maintenance software to obtain service requests.
Prioritize work according to department mandates, plan schedule for club visits to maximize efficiency.
Create service requests to supplement input from club staff to ensure all issues are tracked and repaired.
Support specialist teams (AV / Installation) as required to help execute larger projects.
Report on work progress and completion.
Apply service notes and costs, plus status updates to individual work orders for visibility across departments.
Order parts and materials via our purchasing team as well as through local and national vendors.
Recognize where extra support is needed to manage total workload and communicate with manager to supplement with extra resources.
Communicate with stakeholders within our department, and across the company, to maintain a clear understanding of progress.
Initiate updates with club general managers and support staff so they have a explicit picture of outstanding issues.




Work directly with service coordinators and purchasers to document any needs or support required.
Update RFM on scheduling, external service support needs, larger issues.
Practice safe working habits at all times.
Follow all health & safety best practices when carrying out service and maintenance.
Obey all traffic laws and practice safe and professional driving habits in company vehicles.
Qualifications High school diploma.
Trade certificates / fitness equipment service programs and asset.
Valid driver’s license.
Compensation & Benefits Base wage: $25.13 per hour.
Annual compensation range: $52,200 - $77,900, based on scheduled hours, performance, and time in position.
