Reporting to the Regional Distribution Manager, the Distribution Supervisor is responsible for Distribution operations for Southern Alberta and Red Deer region. The objectives of this position are to ensure safe, compliant, efficient and cost-effective operations while providing excellent customer service to our clients.

What you will enjoy doing

You will directly supervise Distribution facilities and staff in the designated area

Ensure that safety standards are met at all times

Model and enforce Distribution strategy of excellence in customer service, and timely delivery of product

You will perform Home Care Service Representative duties when required to address operational needs

Co-ordinate with the Regional Distribution Manager in monitoring, reporting and actioning distribution staff performance requirements

Co-ordinate with the Regional Distribution Manager in hiring, training and compliance documentation

Further, you will work with all staff (Distribution, Sales, Clinical, Customer Care Associates) on inventory management with the goal of timely and efficient fulfillment of customer needs

Complete site surveys and assessments when necessary, to ensure appropriate access to the customer's site and propose alternatives

You will assist in resolving daily operational challenges and opportunities

Accessibility for after-hours support

What makes you great

Asset to have a college diploma or a university degree in finance / business administration / supply chain management / logistics or equivalent experience5 years of experience in transport operations

Asset to have transportation and logistics experience

You have the ability to travel in the region

In addition you have good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations

Operational security experience is required in this role

Experience leading a team with energy and enthusiasm





You have the ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 75 pounds

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Excellent communication, team interaction and presentation skills

Strong ability to set priorities and follow through on tasks within tight deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft 365, and must be able to efficiently use Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
