Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the timely preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and experience in food service environments.

Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow




Stock supplies and notify management of inventory needs or equipment issues
Adhere to serving protocols and assist in plating dishes for service

Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Robust understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through quality food presentation and timely service

Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.50 per hour
