Job Overview

We are seeking a Part time Junior Baker to join us! We are looking for someone who can work in the morning from 7:30AM-10:30AM every day.

This role offers an exciting prospect for individuals who love baking, food preparation, and creating baked goods. As a PT Junior Baker, you'll assist with baking, mixing icing and prep.

Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and baking a variety of baked goods, such as cinnamon buns and cookies
Support food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
Help with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling products
Package baked items carefully for retail or delivery while maintaining presentation quality
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations




Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about baked goods and offering recommendations when needed

Skills
Proven experience or interest in baking, or food preparation
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques in a kitchen setting
Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently under supervision
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork
Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, packaging methods, and food industry best practices

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
