Wizard's Wanted!

We are hiring. Become a perogie wizard. House of TARG is looking to hire a daytime prep/night cook. Previous kitchen / line cook experience is preferred. Job will consist of handling food prep, and managing high-volume service during open hours and event nights.

Shifts will be mostly weekends with some day prep. Successful candidate should be able communicate efficiently, be a team player and be comfortable in a loud bar/arcade workplace. Must have availability for late-nights and weekend shifts.

Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Cook a variety of menu items with precision, speed, and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and efficiency
Follow food handling protocols to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping, perogie forming, and portioning ingredients
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by ensuring timely meal preparation




Adhere to all safety regulations and sanitation procedures to promote a safe working environment

Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key!
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a quick-paced setting
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality in meal preparation
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Basic understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles is a plus
