Job Overview

Shared Health, under the Manitoba Ministry of Health, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support healthcare information system implementation, process improvement, requirements analysis, and organizational change initiatives.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in business analysis, healthcare system implementations, process mapping, stakeholder requirements gathering, hospital EPR configuration, EHCR implementations, and multi-hospital projects.

Candidates must meet all mandatory certification and experience requirements and provide supporting documentation where requested.

- Minimum 10 years of experience performing business analysis activities supporting information system implementation projects.
- Extensive experience with process mapping and business process analysis.
- Experience documenting:

- Business requirements
- Business processes
- Capability gaps
- The response must include at least 3 project/work examples.
- Examples must collectively demonstrate at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Healthcare Requirements &
- System Implementation – 3+ Years
- Minimum 3 years of experience eliciting requirements from stakeholders and implementing systems within a healthcare setting.
- Experience working directly with healthcare stakeholders to understand business and operational requirements.
- The response must include at least 1 project/work example totaling at least 3 years.
- Multi-Hospital Project Implementation – 3+ Years
- Minimum 3 years of experience implementing projects across multiple hospitals.
- Experience gathering technical and configuration requirements from clinical stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate requirements across multiple healthcare facilities and stakeholder groups.




- The response must include at least 1 project/work example totaling at least 3 years.
- Hospital EPR Configuration – 3+ Years
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience configuring hospital EPR (Electronic Patient Record) applications.
- Experience translating clinical and business requirements into application configuration.
- The response must include at least 1 project/work example totaling at least 3 years.
- EHCR Implementation – 3+ Years
- Minimum 3 years of experience directly related to EHCR (Electronic Home Care Record) implementation.
- Experience supporting requirements, implementation, configuration, stakeholder engagement, and/or deployment activities related to EHCR solutions.
- The response must include at least 1 project/work example totaling at least 3 years.

Key Responsibilities The Business Analyst Will Be Responsible For Business Analysis &

- Requirements

- Conduct business analysis activities throughout healthcare information system implementation projects.
- Elicit, document, validate, and manage business and customer requirements.
- Gather functional, technical, and configuration requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze business processes and identify capability gaps.
- Develop process maps and supporting business analysis documentation.
- Translate business and clinical needs into clear system requirements.

Healthcare System Implementation
- Support the implementation of information systems within healthcare environments.
- Work closely with clinical stakeholders, technical teams, project teams, and healthcare organizations.
- Facilitate requirements gathering across multiple hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Coordinate requirements and implementation activities across complex healthcare environments.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with clinical workflows and operational requirements.

EPR &
- EHCR Solutions

- Support and perform direct configuration of Electronic Patient Record (EPR) applications.
- Translate clinical requirements into appropriate EPR configuration and workflows.
- Support Electronic Home Care Record (EHCR) implementation initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical users to validate application functionality and configuration.
- Identify and resolve requirements or configuration gaps during implementation.

Stakeholder &
- Change Management

- Engage with clinical, business, technical,



and project stakeholders throughout implementation.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, requirements sessions, and process-mapping activities.
- Support organizational change initiatives associated with healthcare system implementations.
- Communicate complex business and technical information clearly to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Help stakeholders understand new processes, system capabilities, and implementation impacts.

Agile &
- Project Collaboration

- Work within Agile project environments and collaborate with Scrum teams.
- Apply business analysis and Agile practices to support iterative solution delivery.
- Work with project managers, Scrum Masters, developers, clinical teams, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain clear and accurate project documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Candidate Profile The Ideal Candidate Will Have

- 10+ years of business analysis experience supporting information system implementations.
- Strong process mapping and requirements elicitation experience.
- 3+ years of healthcare system implementation experience.
- Experience working across multiple hospitals.
- Direct hospital EPR application configuration experience.
- Direct EHCR implementation experience.
- Strong experience working with clinical stakeholders.
- CBAP certification.
- Prosci ADKAR certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
