As an Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator, you will oversee corporate safety strategies while managing a dedicated safety team.

This leadership role focuses on compliance with Manitoba’s safety regulations, employee engagement, and fostering a protected workplace culture. You’ll also provide essential training to enhance safety across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and communicate corporate safety philosophy
Supervise and mentor safety staff effectively
Lead corporate safety initiatives and change management
Ensure compliance with Manitoba's Safety and Health Legislation
Prepare and present safety reports to stakeholders Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent educational background
Minimum five years' experience in Workplace Safety and Health
Hold valid Intermediate/Standard First Aid certification
Minimum three years' supervisory experience
Class 5 Manitoba Driver's license Drive health and safety initiatives, compliance training, and employee engagement at the City of Brandon.
