The Position
We are currently seeking a skilled Refrigeration Apprentice to join our growing team. Open positions focus on commercial and industrial refrigeration service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple sites throughout the Kitchener-Waterloo, Niagara, London, Barrie, Port Elgin or Owen Sound area.

Role and Responsibilities:

Strong diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair refrigeration equipment and rooftop units

Perform preventative maintenance and inspections

Ability to read and interpret HVAC/R schematics and blueprints

Experience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems (ie. racks walk-in coolers/freezers, rooftop units etc.)

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude





Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with codes and company standards and legislation

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Apprentice

Minimum 2 years of commercial Refrigeration/HVAC experience

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Experience with gas heating, refrigeration systems, and airflow principlesAbility to work independently and manage service calls

Willing and able to work overtime, as required

Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract

ODP certification required
