Position Overview
Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is a multi‑disciplined construction company offering superior civil, electrical and mechanical services. ACSI is seeking Millwright Apprentice 2nd year+ and Journeypersons to help with maintenance assignments on projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operate rig equipment and dollies to move heavy machinery and parts.

Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to within fraction‑of‑millimeter tolerance.

Align and test equipment and adjust.

Perform preventive and operational maintenance using procedures such as vibration analysis, and repair or replace defective parts.

Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and programmable logic controls.

Tack welding and fabrication and maintain an inventory of replacement parts.

Perform field work to a high quality and provide thorough follow up with proper and efficient documentation of work.

Perform proactive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs for instrumentation and control equipment such as hydraulic operated valves, pressure and flow gauges, radiation density gauges, radar level transmitters, CCTV monitoring systems, computerized control systems.





Journeyperson will mentor apprentices respectfully and oversee their safety.

Requirements And Experience

Valid Provincial Journeyperson Ticket or being in a Provincial apprenticeship program.

CSTS‑20 Certificate.

Experience as a Millwright in an industrial construction workplace.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.

Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.

Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.

Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.

Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Pre‑Employment Screening
